First Steps

All potential students, regardless of which program they are requesting, begin by submitting a completed Student Application.

The six-page application includes health history, physician's statement, and consent forms. It should be sent to  emilyp@partnersth.org. For more information, contact info@partnersth.org.

People of all ages, with a wide range of physical, cognitive and/or emotional challenges benefit from therapeutic horseback riding and other equine activities. Taught by specially trained instructors certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl), therapeutic horsemanship lessons develop horseback riding skills in individuals with disabilities and allow each student to reach his/her highest level of independence in mounted and unmounted equine activities.

Before participating in therapeutic horseback riding activities, individuals need to consult with their physician. Each prospective rider is required to present a completed Student Application and Physician's Statement signed by their physician prior to registration.
