Vinny is a Quarter Horse born in 1997, which gives him the distinction of being the oldest horse in the herd. In his early days, Vinny trained as a Western reining horse and then as an English hunter horse.  He later changed careers to become a therapy horse. Vinny is the most social of the group and he gives the best hugs. He was retired from being ridden in 2022, although an active participant in unmounted lessons and equine-assisted activities until Fall 2024. Vinny is now living offsite in a retirement home.
