Therapeutic Horsemanship Lessons

Partners Therapeutic Horsemanship offers weekly mounted and unmounted therapeutic lessons scheduled in five to nine week sessions throughout the calendar year. Lessons are held on weekday afternoons from Tuesday to Thursday and on Saturday mornings. Most students begin with our standard 30-minute lessons, but some unmounted students and more advanced mounted students participate in 45-minute lessons. 

 

All lesson spots are currently full, but we regularly add new students from our waitlist as spots open. To get started, please submit a completed Student Application including health history, physician's statement, and consent forms. Students must be a minimum of three years and have the ability to wear a helmet with head control to participate. There is no age limit, but we do have a weight limit for mounted lessons of 120 lbs.

We use information from the Student Application as well as scheduling an on site evaluation to determine the safety and suitability of lessons for each rider as well as the horse and staffing needs they will require.
